Me and Steve working in the attic on New Orlean's hottest day ever, (well, ever recorded)
7 men from California and Texas came to help us with some construction work, they did in a week what would have taken us a year to do without help. I wish I could bottle the energy and work ethic of older men! They got up at 5:30am and were itching to get to work as soon as possible, yup... That was a week of early mornings!
Lord willing, next Spring, we will be having a School of Urban Missions on our property, so we are in the process of trying to prepare for this by turning attics into apartments, where couples can stay during their training.
While the builders were here, we also had two teams come with Wonder Voyage, for whom I would set up gutting projects early in the morning and then rush back to the builders and find out what they need and then zip over to HomeDepot, until the afternoon, when I would rush back to the gutting sites, and take the trailer to the dump and then pick up the gutting tools.

Molly has been bringing Wonder Voyage teams to New Orleans for years, and what a delightful person she is, but to my shame its taken me this long to finally include a picture of us in an update. Oh the guilt and condemnation.
