Well, it seems the truck and trailer has been a bullzeye that has been yelling shoot me!  It started with me jack-knifing, then a while later I am backing at the dump and something sticking up out of the ground rips the dump trailer's hydraulic hose, so me and a guy named Chris emptied the full trailer by hand right before a downpour. Steve had to spend the next day and a tank of gas looking for the parts to fix it. Recently I unhooked the trailer and drove away forgetting to unplug it, so it pulled all the wires out and we spent over a day trying to figure out the color code and still we can't get the right blinker to work (my bad memory is my thorn in the side). On top of that I left a set of trailer-lock keys on the bumper and drove off (who knows where) and lost them. O.K and now for the most resent bit of excitement. I am backing the trailer at the land fill and I hit something that felt like a pot hole, yet I could not see anything. Well, the whole front of the truck collapsed, making it look like a low rider, I guess the shocks gave out or something. So it had to be towed and is still in the shop. Steve drove to northern Louisiana yesterday to picked a huge truck from a friend who will barrow the car I normally drive, until our truck gets fixed.

Feeding The Multitudes
Isaac volunteered with us for a while. We had lots of good conversations and he being a musician, meant we got to share lots of songs with each other. It was great.
This was a special team, one of those I just can't get enough of. I wish they would all just move here.
On the 4th of July we volunteered for a ministry event that serves several 1,000 people. We help feed up to 8,000 people at a time. There were lots of tents, places people could get their hair cut, a Spanish tent, worship, drama and skits going on in tents, begs of food being given away. The church that puts it on, has been doing it since the early 90's when God spoke to them that they were to 'feed the multitudes' though the church was really small and financially struggling at the time.
She wishes you were here

One sad piece of news, is Sarah who had been staff with us for a year has moved on and Lacey who volunteered with us during the summer has went back home as well. Though I am not one who misses people, I am missing them, I definitely feel their absence.
